Event Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

At TWE we know that it's the thinkers, the makers and the doers who have the most impact. Our expanding Shanghai team is currently seeking an Events Manager to cover the North Asia region.  This role creates compelling, differentiated event experiences and is responsible for executing the event programs for TWE brands across a wide range of influencers including trade, consumers, and TWE stakeholders. This truly global role will manage events across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

The Events Manager will not only deliver best in class events but will also oversee and manage budgets, stakeholders, and all aspects of event strategy, timelines and deliverables.  Key responsibilities include:

• Plan & execute events in close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams
• Serves as liaison between the company and its customers, partners, agencies, trade associations and outside vendors to deliver event deliverables on-time and on-budget
• End to end project management of specific events throughout the year
• Oversee individual event budgets, including measurement and reporting, and negotiate contracts
• Events include: brand launches, exhibitions, trade shows, consumer dinners, conferences and roadshows, wine tasting (internal & external)

As this is a regional role, there will be travel required across the North Asia region.

With a minimum of eight years of experience in event management, agency or in-house,  you have a demonstrated track record in successfully devising and implementing events in a corporate environment.  To be successful in this role you will also need an ability to coordinate complex projects while delivering excellent work at all times, with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
