PROJECT INTERNSHIP: PACKAGING AND GIFT BOX DEVELOPMENT (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

The Project will last for 6 to 9 month and aims to redefine the entire packaging displayed and sold in all CHEERS Stores. This includes

• Reseach for options
• Designs
• Material choices
• Supplier Research and price negotiations
• Sample procurement
• Final orders

The project will include every kind of package from the single bottle plastic bag to multiple bottles gift packages for various occasions.

• Market reseach and proposal of options.
  1. Research the packaging industry for out of the box solutions of different styles for packaging options
  2. Create a supplier list and define the most suitable options
  3. Collect general quotations for all options and styles from different suppliers and create a benchmark
  4. Propose ideas to the design team and create first mock-up’s
• Develop together with the Sales and Marketing teams the short list and order samples of all options from various supplier
  1. Develop together with the design team final versions for each package option
  2. Adjust all needed designs and other requirements
  3. Evaluate quality, design and cost points and propose to the team
  4. Evaluate the supplier to ensure a sustainable supply chain
• Purchase planning
  1. Support the Sales team for budget and quantity planning
  2. Negotiate with Supplier all purchase relevant conditions
  3. Help to finalize purchase contracts
  4. Place the orders
• Control received goods and check quality
  1. Coordinate with logistic the arrival of the goods
  2. Make random checks of goods quality
  3. Inniate the complaints with suppliers if needed
  4. Support the final implementation and overhanding to the purchase team
