Primary Responsibilities
• Reporting to the supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:• Carefully inform and assist guests with menu items
• Follow restaurant policies, procedures and service standards
• Get a comprehensive view of the wine list and promotions
• Comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, contents and preparation methods
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when serving meals
• Other tasks assigned by superiors
Knowledge and Experience
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
• Requires experience with point-of-sale terminal systems
• Requires proficiency in computer operation, especially Microsoft applications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Ability to coordinate work as part of a team
• Ability to focus on the needs of guests, remaining calm and courteous at all times
