Trade Marketing Manager—Wholesaler (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • This role is responsible for the
  • Development, delivery and execution of trade marketing activity for wholesaler channel
  • Delivery of every piece of non-ATL related brand content, POS & trade presenters as the full set of toolkits
  • Takes the core brand activity and then makes it work across wholesaler customers
  • Developing the go to market strategy and clear picture of success for sales execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and execute ‘in full & on time, with excellence’ (IFOTWE) the BTL elements of all key brand programs.
  • Budget management and continuous tracking of $A&P spend for agreed projects with fair ROI calculation
  • Develop, manage and execute IFOTWE all ad hoc and ‘off the plan’ activities.
  • Develop, manage and execute IFOTWE agreed sponsorship leverage programs.
  • Closely monitor execution of key programs to capture leanings and drive for continuous improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, direction and execution of marketing programs
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement around culture and personal development.
  • Manage and nurture agency relationships – Design, execution and experiential, to achieve best results as well as seeking to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Development and delivery of all relevant communication touch-points for sales execution.
  • Develop and delivery of all relevant toolkits for sales execution.
  • Input into development of key portfolio initiatives – with the viewpoint as the trade marketing expert
  • Input into annual brand planning process – with the viewpoint as the trade marketing expert
  • Develop and drive new initiatives based on channel and trade insights
  • Responsible for complying with company policies, procedures and governance including Corporate Social Responsibilities, Risk Management and Health and Safety

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • MCG brand or trade marketing experience, 5+ years preferred
  • FMCG sales experience will be beneficial
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills to drive delivery of business objectives
  • Strong project management & planning skills
  • A clear and confident communicator who can build strong relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-regulate workflow and approvals as necessary
  • Proven experience in creation and implementation of trade marketing projects
  • Experience in managing agencies
  • Experience in managing $A&P budgets
  • Ability for multi-task functions and self-motivation
  • Strong capability of Powerpoint and Excel with good presentation skills
