Sales Executive – Wine & Event Company (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

A growing agricultural, innovative international wine import company are looking for a dynamic young person to join the customer service and account team in Guangzhou. The role is based in my Guangzhou Dongpu office and would ideally suit a person who has good communication and language skills and Is looking for a challenging position learning how manage Chinese and International Customers. Some experience working for a trading company in sales, customer service or event management would be beneficial but we would also consider a university graduate with the right attitude and potential. Report to our Italian Sales Manager and our English GM.

The job includes:

• Communicate via telephone, email, wechat and meetings with potential new customers and existing customers to develop strong client relationships .
• Be able to handle any complaints, concerns & questions from the clients and escalate / report to management.
• Translation of tasting notes and other sales materials from English to Chinese.
• Complete Order Processing, organise & dispatch wine shipments to trade and end consumers, schedule meetings for Sales Manager, follow up with finance and procurement departments for contracts, orders and other information, help development strong relationships especially with Chinese Clients.
• Preparing equipment for our events and attend some events to help Sales Manager/GM .
• Maintain web shop date, tasting notes & wine portfolio database.
• Source and purchase items needed for events and to support our trade clients.
• Help to update and maintain the client database in our client relationship system.

Skills required:

• Knowledge and/or interest in learning about wine.
• Good customer service and communication.
• Fluent English & Chinese speaking, writing and reading is necessity.
• Previous Customer Service experience or order management experience are preferred but not essential.
• Keen to learn and can work under tight time constraints and pressure .
• A good team player with high energy level and always willing to help our staff and clients.
• Detail oriented and conscientious.
• Ambitious and looking for an opportunity to learn, develop and take on responsibility over time .

Candidates will need to show strong self motivation and desire to help to gain new business opportunities and look after our existing clients. Proven skills with telephone communication are important. Competent skills in Microsoft Office & Email are a necessity.
