Business Intelligence Manager
Ensures business decision making is based on effective data usage and contextualised market data in RTM planning
Establishes improved processes for governing the collection and reporting of customer stock data
Provides direction for solution development and delivery to enhance business efficiency
Drives technology buy vs. build analyses, vendor selection, contract management, outsourcing strategy and staff augmentation resources where applicable (focused on CRM and sales management)
Defines ways of working for sales teams’ usage of CRM applications
Lead Asian stakeholder in implementation of global IT enhancements
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Business Intelligence Manager
- Deliver monthly depletion and stock in trade reports to the business
- Implement CRM roll out to China sales business
- Deliver enhanced modelling & reporting suite to the China business to support strategy, most specifically the route to market management
- Supports development and delivery of global initiatives in Asia
- Support Finance and marketing functions in improving reporting processes.
- Lead and develop team of data analysts
Qualifications and Experience:
Fluent in Mandarin and English
University degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering or other Quantitative field disciplines desirable)
10+ years of experience developing data warehousing (ETL) and data infrastructure solutions, including data-modelling
7+ years experience working knowledge of multiple functions within the consumer products industry in order to provide effective linkages.
3+ years leading and / or managing people.
Experience with industry leading ETL Tools such as AWS & MS BI tools – Redshift, Glue, Lambda, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.
Experience working with web-scale databases and building scalable data pipelines
Experience designing and developing Business Intelligence for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and Support functions
Analytical / Problem Solving Skills. Strong analytical and strategic mind
Wine/Spirits industry experience desirable
