Demand planner (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: 

• Challenge, influence and validate monthly (weekly where relevant) Sales plan & Depletion forecast with Regional managers.
• Ensure Demand Forecast reflects the North Asia / China Business Unit strategy and is adjusted for major decisions in the Commercial Review meetings.
• Coach Regional Managers into forecasting best practice.
• Coordinate and manage Demand changes from key areas within the Business Unit:
• Allocations & Constrained products.
• Sales: D&R, Promotional plans, pricing, distribution, tax, performance to plan.
• Marketing: A&P, Brand changes; NPD and obsolete products.
• Create and maintain the rolling 24 month Demand Forecast through statistical models for the long term demand plan
• Deliver executive summary and develop ad-hoc analytical report for different stakeholders to highlight the major risks & opportunities of the business
• Own and drive key Customer Collaboration, including relationship building, communication across internal & external stakeholders, relevant analysis and accurate reporting.
• Publish timely forecasts to the centralised system for Supply team.
• Continuously develop improvements to the forecast

• Ensuring accurate and timely information sourced both internally & externally.
• Continually improving accuracy and reliability of demand plan through the IBP process
• Belling able to manage several projects at the same time.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• University degree / equivalent level (Business or Finance disciplines desirable)
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• High degree of ERP system knowledge
• Understanding of Data Warehouse & Reporting tools (Similar to Oracle Financial Analytics)
