Financial Analyst (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The key objectives of this position are:
  • Improve the analysis of the sales performance and profitability by channel, region, outlet to provide more precise guidance to management 
  • Strengthen the analytical team that will support other departments (sales & marketing) by providing weekly / monthly analysis and reporting 
  • Better control price related investments and possible risks/opportunities of saving during the year 
  • Help implement BI tools and analytical reporting (both sales and CRM)   

Key Responsibilities

WeChat B2B mini program:

  • Structure the analytical process: provide regular weekly/monthly reports to top management, sales admin, marketing teams, etc.
  • e Details by region, brand, SKU, outlets, etc.
  • Work with the service provider to implement a V2 of the mini program
  • Provide ROI analysis at outlet level before to validate a new investment

Depletions & stock equations for Key account and ecommerce channel:

  • Collect YTD sell-out & depletions information by key account (KA off trade, KA on trade, ecommerce)
  • Prepare analysis by channel / customer on YTD sales performance vs initial budget (summary for total customer + details for top outlets)
  • Prepare forecast of depletions and SEQ for Key accounts to control and challenge the sell-in forecasts from sales team
  • Prepare stock equations forecasts by T1/T2

Price related investment:

  • Analyze each month the actual spending per customer / channel and align with sales and marketing teams on the expected YTG spending => anticipate full year risk or opportunity
  • Create categories of fixed cost (not related to volumes) and variable costs that will evolve based on volumes
  • Provide each month a summary and detailed analysis of spending by nature (coupons, listing fees, free goods, etc.)

Other topics:

  • Contribute to the preparation of budget and budget revisal for sales, logistics, etc.
  • Support IT and finance department to implement BI data hub and new reporting
  • Prepare monthly finance reporting (Business finance review)
  • Support the management, marketing teams, others on ad'hoc analysis

Education, Experience and Competency

  • Education Degree in finance 
  • Language Skills English, Chinese 
  • Professional Experience +2 years. Working as Financial Analyst. 
  • An experience in wine & spirits industry is not essential. 
  • Core Competencies eg, Technical, management skills, interpersonal skills Excel (proficient). 
  • Working on BI tools (such as Power BI) and CRM tools is a plus.
