About the role

Reporting into our Head of Indirect Procurement, this is an essential role to ensure we optimise spend across marketing and sales (including Above the Line and Below the Line advertising, branded merchandise, sales related expenditure and marketing related consulting etc.)  Partnering our marketing and sales leaders, you will work with broad internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure we deliver sustainable and quality products at optimum costs.

• Collaborate with the global indirect procurement team to contribute to the three-year plan and translate this into an executable in-year plan with benefits targets
• Focus on business partnering across global markets to identify, prioritise and deliver value that is relevant to Treasury Wine Estates’ and marketing and sales’ strategic goals
• Use your expertise in marketing and sales, analytics and insights to develop an integrated plan to uplift commercial outcomes of our marketing and sales spend portfolio
• Enable better buying outcomes and optimise capital performance for Treasury Wine Estates
• Support the overall P2P agenda and lead the organisation towards S2P

About you

We are searching for an accomplished procurement expert who has extensive experience in managing marketing and sales spend.  (Given the targets we are trying to achieve, there will be a strong focus on finding candidates with this category spend.)  You’re a self-starter and collaborator and thrive when you can bring your true self to work.  You’ll have big ideas and a track record of resilience and open-mindedness in pursuing your ideas to fruition.

• Solid experience in category management and strategic sourcing in marketing for FMCG commercial industries
• Solid understanding of marketing and sales functions
• Proven record of delivering substantial category value delivery
• Strong customer-service mentality and understanding of the contribution indirect procurement makes in helping our business units to outperform
• Able to translate business requirements into value-driven initiatives
• Expert influencer and confident in negotiating at all levels
