Quality Assurance Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

This role is responsible for leading TWE’s quality assurance (QA) program in Asia to ensure TWE’s supply chain delivers optimal quality products to Asia customers. This includes:

• Development of Asia QA strategy, processes and guidelines and implementation in Asia and COOs
• Oversight of all Asia QA activities at both TWE and supplier sites

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

• Define quality assurance strategy, guidance and supervision of implementation, to ensure company complies with applicable Quality Standards, local regulatory requirements,  and Asia business requirements
• Quality control for end to end operations, including inbound, storage, outbound, transportation and extend to distributors’ level
• Ensure that all materials and finished products are to standard and fit for purpose.
• Accountable for identifying areas at risk of loss and to pursue opportunities for improvements in packaged product, incoming materials supplies, dry goods and finished product quality.
• To drive a culture of quality right first time
• Implement and maintain compliance with the food safety and quality management system by reporting food safety hazards and quality problems as they arise.
• Defining requisite performance standards and work with procurement and group technical to align standards with suppliers’ capabilities and requirements.
• Liaise with and manage suppliers on quality and food safety related issues.
• Ensuring that Continuous Improvement culture is driven and includes the use of practical problem solving tools.
• Support and maintain compliance with the TWE HSE Policy and take responsibility for solving and/or reporting workplace hazards.
• Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualified in Commerce/Business or relevant field
• Tertiary science, food science, engineering qualifications or relevant experience
• 8+ years relevant experience in a QA / beverage processing function preferably in an FMCG environment, sprite/wine industry is plus
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Strong ability to manage and deliver business process change
• Excellent ability to liaise and influence stakeholders, to the highest level, including stakeholders located overseas
• Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering against targets
• Change management experience
