  • Provide fast and courteous service of food and beverages to guests and ensure quality of food and beverage presentation per established standards. The standards ensure the quality of the catering appearance.

  • Deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures Provide high standards of catering services in accordance with departmental norms and procedures . 
  • Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information Communicate with superior leaders about difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information. 
  • Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled Participate in daily meetings and other planned meetings.

  • Prepares for service by ensuring: Ensure that the following tasks are in place for the customer to serve:

  • Equipment is clean o Equipment is sorted and stored Equipment is classified and stored 
  • Glassware is polished Glassware Polish 
  • Flatware is polished Polish tableware 
  • China is clean Cleaning porcelain 
  • Waiter stations are prepared Ready for service desk 
  • Cutlery is placed for buffet and Table service Place utensils on the buffet table 
  • Tables are set Tables are set

  • Special occasions are ready Get ready for special events

  • Carries out effective service by ensuring: efficient delivery of services: 
  • Guests are greeted and seated welcome and arrange guests to sit down.

  • Food orders are processed accuratel Accurate meal orders 
  • Trays and tray jacks are effectively used The effective use of trays and tray racks. 
  • Food orders are taken quickly Write meals for guests quickly 
  • Payment methods are handled accurately Payment methods are handled accurately 
  • Working areas are cleaned and re-set quickly clean work areas and rearranging 
  • bar is clean clean bar 
  • used ashtrays are regularly cleaned periodically cleaned out a used ashtray 
  • guests are conversed with in relation to the food and beverage products with the guests talking about the catering product 
  • Carries out effective Beverage service by ensuring: Beverage service is provided efficiently by ensuring the following:
  • Beverages are upsold and regularly replenished, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations Comply with alcohol beverage service, sell beverages and renew alcohol for customers regularly. 
  • Converse with Guests about wine, advising the types and styles of wine, taking wine orders and serving wine, talking about wines, wine variety and style, writing a list and sending wine to guests. Promoting and selling cocktails to guests selling cocktail 
  • Making and presenting cocktails deployment and decorative cocktail 
  • coffee and tea is served hot and in accordance with standard specifications provided by hot coffee and tea 
  • Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints properly handle guest complaints. 
  • Food and beverage stock is stored in relation to hotel procedures 
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned Special items that bear related responsibilities and arrangements. 

Job qualifications and skills 
Qualifications - Degree 

  • High School high school diploma

Experience - experience 

  • Food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations preferred 
  • general knowledge who have experience in the food service and restaurant operators have priority.
