Working closely with General Manager/ Marketing Manager to actively seek out and engage customer prospects, identify new business opportunities - including developing the market, sales channels, distributors, and brand building. Provide efficient sales solutions in order to boost top-line revenue growth, brand exposure and profitability of the wine business in China.
Responsibilities 1. Identify new clients for the winery’s products Research the market to discover new clients/ Channels/ distributors who may be interested in the products that the winery produces and develop a plan for approaching those potential new clients. 2. Conduct training programs Wine training programs is an important part of the wine sales executive’s position for to pass on the extensive knowledge about company wine and the wineries products to internal staff and external clients in training seminars. 3. Organise wine deliveries for special events Organize and performing on the promotional events for the winery. Organise the delivery of wines and ensure that the winery is well represented and accurately reach out target client. 4. Keep the team & client informed about changes to products Responsible for ensuring the rest of the team understand the current products which the company is selling. Because wines change with each vintage, make sure to update on time on the qualities of the most recent products. 5. Coordinate with the logistic team to ensure an adequate supply of wine Ensure there is enough stock available to meet sales forecasts and special events. 6. Perform all wine sales with respect to applicable laws Must be aware of liquor sales and adv laws in the jurisdictions in which they are operating. 7. Be the image of the company at trade events The wine sales executive will represent the company at many trade events. The knowledge of wine and presentation of the brand must be of the highest standard.
Qualifications & Skills 1.At least 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the wine or hospitality industry. 2.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate customers on wine topics. 3.Strong sales skills, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. 4.Flexible schedule, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
