Job Description:

Our company is looking to employ a professional instructor to teach our WSET Levels 1, 2, and 3 courses in the Wuxi area. This school is the first of many that will be established in the coming years, so there is great opportunity for career growth.

Applicants must be able to show the following skills and qualifications: 

  • WSET Level 3 Award in Wines as a minimum;
  • Have at least 5-years’ experience in the wine industry;
  • Have visited a number of wine regions;
  • Have excellent teaching and public speaking abilities;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Be capable of teaching in English and Mandarin. 

The position will be on a contract basis, and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting WSET courses in Wuxi. Requirements of this position include: 

  • Be available weekends and weekday evenings;
  • Selecting wines in according to curriculum guidelines;
  • Preparing wine logs for each class;
  • Preparing the classroom to ensure students are given the highest-quality education;
  • Conducting classes in a timely and efficient matter;
  • Invigilate exams according to strict WSET guidelines;
